Discussions notification

I was wondering if there was any way of setting up a notification scheme so that if a reviewer, to one of the DOORS databases I am admin for, makes a discussion on an object I would receive some form of notification. I know that there is a small speach bubble that will appear but there is no way (that I am aware of) to show that another discsussion or comment has been made on this object. I also dont know how to set this up so that newer comments are a different colour etc if I view them or make an action against them they are different from ones that have not been read.
